Penguin Plunge
Swimmers who complete the Penguin Plunge by the end of the season will receive special recognition by including their name on a plaque that is displayed at the pool house. To complete the Penguin Plunge, the following are required:
Swimmers 8 and younger:
1) Swim all 4 strokes throughout the season. Each stroke must be completed in an individual event; legs in relays do not count
2) Successfully complete all 4 strokes. If a swimmer is DQd, they must try again at a different meet.
Swimmers 9 and older:
1) Swim all 4 strokes throughout the season. Each stroke must be completed in an individual event; legs in relays do not count.
2) Successfully complete all 4 strokes. If a swimmer is DQd, they must try again at a different meet.
3) Must successfully complete the Individual Medley (IM)-all 4 strokes are done individually in a relay style in the following order: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle
**Individual Medley will not be available at the first meet, but will be available at the other meets.**
